MY TEACHING STYLE

I love to infuse technology in my lessons and it is rare that you enter my classroom and students aren't on their ChromeBooks creating something. I also love hands on activities that get the kiddos up and moving.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

I currently teach high school English (Eng 2-4) at an alternative school in rural NC. I am the only high school English teacher at our school, therefore, I am fairly autonomous. I have previously taught at the middle school level, grades 7-8. However, my love of literature shines through when I am in a high school setting. I particularly love being at the alternative school because the student body is so small I can make a connection with each kiddo regardless of whether they are in my class.
