TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Alice Anne G. Farley is a licensed and certified speech-language pathologist and board certified fluency specialist. Mrs. Farley is the author of Color Me Fluent TM, (www.colormefluent.com) a complete treatment program for individuals who stutter from pre-school to adult (Super Duper Publications, 2006). Having practiced since 1963, she has served on the faculties of the Ohio State University, Mercer University, the University of South Carolina, and Columbia College. Also, she has served as an adjunct faculty member for South Carolina State University, and The Citadel. She is the past president of the South Carolina Speech and Hearing Association (SCSHA), having served, also, for three years as convention chairperson. Mrs. Farley has held a variety of positions including Executive Director, St. Nicholas Speech and Hearing Clinic, Greenwood, South Carolina; Area Supervisor for Professional Rehabilitation, Columbia, SC; and Director of Speech Pathology for Manor Care, Lexington and Columbia, SC. Additionally, she was the owner/director of Palmetto Speech Pathology Associates and Consultants, a licensed rehabilitation agency in Columbia, for over ten years. Currently, she owns and directs Speech Pathology Practice in Irmo, SC. Mrs. Farley is available for training sessions, in-services, and workshops.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

Alice Anne G. Farley was educated at the University of Georgia in Athens from which she received a B.S. Ed. (1963), and a M.Ed. (1965), in Speech Correction and Audiology. Awarded an assistantship and a traineeship for graduate studies from OVR.
