TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I am a Certified Teacher and Early Childhood Educator in Ontario. I have experience teaching everything from Kindergarten to Grade 8, and am currently loving teaching 7 & 8, and can see myself staying in the intermediate division for a long time!

MY TEACHING STYLE

I am a lifelong learner, who believes that if I want to engage my students I need to teach in a way that is engaging to me as well. I strive to support the teaching foundational skills and concepts with opportunities for students to develop their own understandings through problem solving. I also see a huge benefit in embracing technology in the classroom! We live in a technology age, and would be doing a disservice to our students by not reflecting that in their learning environment. How can they learn to use tech effectively and responsibly without opportunities to do so?!
