TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I am currently teaching 3rd grade. This is my 11th year teaching third grade. I have a masters in Reading and also tutor. I've been tutoring for about 8 years. I teach students of all abilities. Some resources I can provide for remediation. Other resources can be used for challenging students. Many resources I create can be used for class meetings on character education/bully prevention. Some resources can be used for behavior management at the elementary level. I use a balanced literacy approach of Daily 5, Guided Reading, whole class and small group. I currently use Singapore Math 'Math in Focus' Third Grade Curriculum. Some reading materials I use are from the Pearson Reading Street curriculum.
