TEACHING EXPERIENCE

This is my 16th year as an elementary teacher! I have taught 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade. Currently I am a 3rd grade math and science teacher!

MY TEACHING STYLE

Structure mixed with fun! In science class, being in a classroom with iPads for every students, I've found now that I let the students explore more and present information to the class rather than me!

I am a certified early childhood and elementary teacher. I have a concentration in special education. I earned both my bachelors and masters degree from Bloomsburg University of PA.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

I enjoy my job as an elementary teacher. I couldn't imagine what other job would be most fitting for me other than teaching little children every day! They always keep me on my toes and put a smile on my face! Outside of school, I have a love for traveling, animals, shopping with my mom, spending time with my friends, and long distance running (<--- But I'll never admit that while I'm doing it!)
