Teaching has been my passion for 8 years. I started my career as a FLAP (Foreign Language Assistance Program) Grant Coordinator/Teacher. I was responsible for creating a Spanish Language program to elementary students, starting at kindergarten. I fell in love with that grade level and haven't left. I am now in my sixth year teaching kindergarten in a Two Way Immersion Program. My activities that I want to share with you are functional, as my quote suggests. After a great lesson, simple and functional activities can take students far!
I love to create with my students. They accelerate my motivation more than anything else.
Linda Brown Fellows Award The Linda Brown Fellows Awards recognize TTUSD teachers who... go above and beyond in fulfilling their potential as an educator and show exceptional merit or talent, provide truly outstanding academic programs, are extraordinarily innovative, and creative. This was a huge honor.

In my attempt to stay active and be a role model for my students, I create a balanced lifestyle by getting outside and "playing". I have to walk away from my never ending tasks and jump on a bike, snowboard, running trail, or just be outside in nature.
