TEACHING EXPERIENCE

A Social Studies Life creates resources, lessons, and activities for the History and Social Studies classroom

I'm a proud public school teacher who has taught History and Social Studies for the past fifteen years. I have taught 7th grade American History, 8th grade American History, 9th grade World History, 10th grade World History, 11th grade American History, 12th grade Government, and 12th grade Elective Psychology.

MY TEACHING STYLE

In teaching, every day is different. I believe in a constructivist approach to learning. I believe in and create student-centered, activity-based, and cooperative learning activities. Everything in my class involves critical thinking. Therefore, every product I offer on TPT incorporates these different learning modalities, and I have used every resource and product with my own students.
