TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I'm in my second year of teaching! I've taught 3rd grade reading for 2 years.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I love teaching reading! I love when kids are spread out around my room working at their own pace. As a newer teacher, I am willing to try many new things throughout the year to see how they work, but at the end of the day I love structure and consistency and I feel that's what makes my room work as well as it does.

I graduated from Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, TX in 2013 with a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies EC-6.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

I am a wife of a Texas Game Warden and mother of 2. We live in a small Texas town outside of College Station, TX. We have an active life and are constantly doing something! I love reading and teaching reading! Whether I'm reading aloud to my own children or basically acting out the scenes to my students while reading to them, It's something I thoroughly enjoy.
