TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I began my teaching career in 1986. I taught 18 years of public school Bible History including grades K-12, with the most experience on the high school level. In 2004, I began teaching middle school English, Language Arts and am still at it today! I earned my Masters in Education Technology in 2011.

MY TEACHING STYLE

My teaching style includes much creativity, multiple activities and an emphasis on making lessons relevant to my students.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

I received an award from ETS for scoring in the all-time top 15% on the Praxis II Professional Knowledge test.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I attended and graduated from a Christian high school. I received a BS in Bible and Bible Teaching from Columbia International University. I hold teaching certificates in both North Carolina and Maine. I received my MED in Technology Integration in the K-12 Classroom in 2011 from Walden University.
