TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I am currently teaching third grade in an inclusion classroom. I absolutely love it!

MY TEACHING STYLE

I am always looking for a fun and hands-on approach to learning that will keep my students engaged while helping them develop each of the skills necessary for their success in third grade and beyond.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

I am honored to be a teacher and am awarded with the love of my students and the joy of watching them learn each and every day. :)

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I attended Armstrong Atlantic State University after graduating high school in 2005. I graduated in May of 2011 Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelors of Science in Early Childhood Education.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

I am happily married to the man of my dreams who happens to be a fifth grade teacher. Together, we are "2BrokeTeachers". :) My husband and I have four beautiful children. Our daughter and two oldest sons are in school and range from third grade to Pre-K. It has been such a learning experience to go through each new grade with our kiddos. Our newest addition recently turned one year old and he keeps us busy! My children are an absolute joy! I view my opportunity to teach in my community as an opportunity to invest because my children will one day be greatly influenced by the men and women that create my area's school district. I strive to give my best each and every day in hopes that my children will also receive their teachers' best in the years to come.
