20 years in ESL/Bilingual/Dual Language Education. Taught English in Taiwan for a year. Then returned to the U.S. to become an ESL tutor. Became a 1st grade bilingual teacher, then taught from K-4th grade as a bilingual/dual language teacher. Also a Dual Language resource teacher K-6. Taught in a Montessori school for two years PreK-3rd.
Student directed teaching style. A mixture of Montessori and traditional that is always lead by student needs. Teacher is a guide to help students find their most effective teaching style to promote self education.
