Description
This rubric is very generic so that it can be used with any unit or lesson. It is based on a 5-1 point system in three cateregories, craftsmanship, creativity/origniality, and participation. Each point in all of the cateregories has a detailed explination of the expectations for the assignment.
I give a copy of this to all of my students and their parents at the beginning of the year so my grading procedure is clear (so often kids and their families assume art is an automatic "A") and then I customize this rubric format for all student work. I hope this is helpful - it has worked for me so far.
