Upper Elementary Math Skills Review Flipchart with ActiVote Questions #4

This is a Promethean flipchart that I created to help my 5th grade students review for a district mandated interval test. The testing language and skills mimic what the students will see on state standardized testing. There are ActiVote questions embedded with the correct answer indicated after the vote. Using the ActiVotes as a formative assessment allows you to immediately determine student mastery of given skills, and target additional instructional basic on your students' needs. If you do not have ActiVotes, you can just show this flipchart and complete the questions orally or on paper. You can also print this flipchart with multiple slides per page and give it as a paper and pencil assessment.

The skills addressed in this flipchart are: transformations; length, time, and temperature estimation; angles in triangles; elapsed time; coordinate points; time zones; and rotational symmetry.

This flipchart was created for 5th graders, but would be appropriate for 4th or 6th graders as well.

Although the first page of the flipchart is decorated with clip art, I intentionally left the assessment pages simple so my students would not be distracted.
