Unit 1: MONEY FOUNDATIONS is the perfect introduction to FINANCIAL LITERACY. This NO PREP UNIT will set a foundation for future financial literacy skills. This bundle provides some of the most foundational skills for managing money and understanding our own spending. These topics often get skipped and yet they are essential to financial success! With ENGAGING LESSONS and WORKSHEETS/ACTIVITIES to reinforce skills you can provide your students with the strong foundation they need. This bundle can act as a stand-alone unit or you may prefer to use each lesson to reinforce your own material. This unit includes three full lessons:
- Lesson 1: Money & Your Values
- Lesson 2: Wants vs. Needs
- Lesson 3: Spending Habits
This unit is focused on explicit instruction and buildable skills. This lesson can be used in a 1:1 setting, in a SMALL GROUP, or during WHOLE CLASS instruction. This lesson can be used with sub-separate groups, in life skills/transition classes, in business classes, or as a functional math lesson.
This lesson can be used as a STAND ALONE LESSON but is also part of the MONEY FOUNDATIONS BUNDLE and the FINANCIAL LITERACY CURRICULUM.
