Description
This is the Tree We Planted is cumulative story about a tree that grows and supports an entire ecosystem. There are suggestions for activities and research projects as well as printable pages for phonics, reading comprehension and science ideas. Florida state standards are referenced for ELA and science. This would be a great add on to the Benchmark unit about living things. Printables include:
*an animal classification sorting activity

*creating mental images
*a matching activity with baby animals and adult animals
