Learning targets:

• Develop an understanding of the importance of respecting and valuing other people’s personal property.

• Become aware of the consequences of stealing and the importance of being honest.

• Review School handbook as it pertains to student conduct and understand why proper conduct is important in our school as well as in society.

• Reflect on my actions that led to the detention and discuss why it’s important to show respect towards others and their property.

This Restorative activity is part of alternative consequence projects for the students to complete during ISS or 2 hour detentions. These projects are for the students to reflect and hopefully learn from their mistakes so they will not be repeated. These projects are reflective based on the reason they have a consequence. Made of YouTube or brain pop videos and short articles. The student later goes over it with me or one of the counselors.
