The OUTSIDERS Test - Whole Novel Test w/ Standards-Based Stems - Print & DIGITAL

OUTSIDERS TEST – This whole novel test will challenge your students to use those higher-level thinking skills required on standardized ELA tests. Now includes a digital version in Google Forms! Question stems include key words and phrases such as author’s tone, text evidence, point of view, author uses the literary device, quotation best reveals, character’s motivation, impacts the plot, demonstrates the meaning, etc.

The test consists of 30 Multiple Choice questions and includes an Answer Key.

The print version includes a test with answer blanks and a test without answer blanks (for separate answer sheet use). The test is 4 pages in length.

To access the digital version, you will find a PDF with a link to the test in Google Forms, along with directions how to access and use the resource with students.
