Description

The Landlady by Roald Dahl is a fantastic short story to use to to help teach foreshadowing and characterization! This unit for The Landlady includes an activating activity, pre-read vocabulary, during reading questions, post reading foreshadow and characterization charts, as well as a quiz and post reading narrative activity! There is also a comparing mediums worksheet for students to use with the 1979 film version of the The Landlady!

The worksheets with foreshadowing and characterization really help to get students back hunting through the text with their best inference skills!
