What educators are saying

I used this resource to assess the Bill of Rights section of my Constitution Unit. I loved the built-in differentiation. It worked well, and I could quickly see which students understood the Bill of Rights. My only criticism was that it was not available digitally; I had to print it all.
Wow - loved this activity. I teach in a co-taught classroom and we taped the task cards around the room, the kids loved it! We gave them the choice of which question to do for each amendment, but had to answer at least one DOK level 4. I just purchased the Constitutional Principles packet too!

Description

Engage your middle school and high school students with the amendments in the Bill of Rights (Amendments 1-10). Use differentiated teaching with these task cards. Each question includes four leveled questions.

Each question aligns with Revised Bloom’s Taxonomy levels of thinking, DOK style questions, and government standards.

Support diverse middle and high school learners by pre-teaching important vocabulary terms with images. The guided notes include a space for students to create a visual memory aid.

I've used this activity in my mild to moderate special education classroom and

co-taught classes. Co-workers who work with students in the general education setting have also used this activity.
