"The Big Tiny: A Built-It-Myself Memoir"

This unit, based on the memoir by Dee Williams, is perfect for a Building Trades CTE course or for any English course that wants to offer books on a variety of topics. Dee Williams built her own tiny house and has lived in it for years. She now has a business designing tiny houses. This book is reader-friendly with Dee's narrative style and great sense of humor. This unit contains an in-depth study guide (answer key included), test (multiple choice and short answer questions with answer key), and several different enhancement activities, including a synthesis-style essay/Socratic Seminar prompt about tiny houses with sources included, several poetry activities, and much more. In addition there are two major projects about tiny houses that give students a real-world experience designing their dream tiny house and their tiny house business.
