Description

A 5 page, 5 part readers' theater script for St. Patrick's Day, telling the story of 2 bunnies and a chipmunk who want to cross a rainbow because they have heard there are carrots and nuts on the other side. But, a fox has also heard about it, so he thinks he can follow them and have his own yummy dinner.

The script is written with primary students in mind and contains parts for High Emergent to Fluent readers as follows:

o High Emergent (roughly DRA 6-8) Lola the bunny

o Transitional (roughly DRA 10-12): Chippy the chipmunk

o High Transitional (roughly DRA 14-18): Bob, the bunny

o Fluent (roughly DRA 20+): fox, narrator

Also includes full page, color images of each character which students can use to make hats or neck signs to identify their part to the audience.
