What educators are saying

My students worked on this as part of a sub plan I left. They worked either independently, or with each other, then we reviewed it together as a group when I returned.
This was a great end of the unit quiz for conjugation for my kids. It was very straight forward for the kids and easy for them to follow.

Description

This file covers 24 essential regular verbs in the present tense. Each verb is used at least two times with various subjects throughout the 50-question exercise. Each sentence is given in Spanish with a blank where the verb is to be selected and conjugated to fit the subject. There is also an English translation so that students know beyond a doubt what the sentence says and which verb they need to use. (This is a word document which is completely customizable to suit your purposes.)

I used the file as a test for my level one students, but it may be used as a worksheet for practice. There is a word bank of the verbs (without English meaning) for spelling purposes.

The verbs which are covered include: abrir; aprender; asistir; bailar; beber; buscar; esperar; cantar; comer; comprender; creer; deber; enseñar; escribir; escuchar; estudiar; hablar; leer; mirar; necesitar; practicar; trabajar; vender; vivir.

Here are two sample sentences so that you may get and idea of the scope of the worksheet/test:

Las niñas y yo ________________________ los regalos.

(The girls and I open the presents.)

Las tiendas ________________________ comida mexicana.

(The stores sell mexican food.)
