Vocalists: Lead vocals are by Jessie Bridges - daughter of actor, Jeff, Skyler Stonestreet - finalist in the Rolling Stone Magazine new talent contest, and Viva Gore - daughter of Martin Gore of the band Depeche Mode. The background choir is made up of students and parents. Discovered on a student's favorite song computer playlist, Special became a grass roots hit at Brown.
Although Special is a song that speaks to all ages, our lesson plan is geared towards grades 4 -6.

Music teachers: Special is a gorgeous and touching choice for choir performances. It is simple to pull off with just a piano and any group of young people fourth grade through high school. It was my own choir's favorite performance song. Both the sheet music and a studio recorded accompaniment track are available in our store. (side left menu)
