Description

"The knee bone's connected to the . . . " Human body systems, especially the skeletal system, are topics taught throughout all grade levels. In this lesson, students integrate art and science by creating unique skeletal illustrations. Integrating art into a lesson, in a meaningful and purposeful way, is a great method of showcasing your students’ knowledge and understanding while also covering standards and benchmarks.

In addition to the video, the lesson also includes downloadable lesson plans (early ed - middle school), extended learning opportunities, skull and hand illustrations, early ed activity sheet, and reflection sheet.
