Do you want to know precisely where students are phonics wise? As a reading interventionist, I often need a Phonics Screener to find where my students are to begin instruction. I created this phonics screener for students in first grade and above to determine where students are reading phonetically. It also includes segmenting and blending on the first grade one as those are the two most important phonemic awareness skills and assessing those quickly will give you valuable information about your students.
