ABOUT:
LE PETIT JOURNAL FRANCOPHONE is a monthly publication that provides comprehensible news summaries from the Francophone world to learners of French. Both Novice and Intermediate readers will find these news engaging and comprehensible. This product may be used as a scaffold to an authentic news article, a jumping point for further discussion/exploration of a cultural topic, a fast-finisher activity, part of a sub plan, or as free voluntary reading materials.
To facilitate further exploration of a news topic, each article also contains one or two reflection questions, and links to authentic articles and videos. More resources are available Toward Proficiency Facebook group and on Le Petit Journal YouTube playlist.
