What educators are saying

This is a very useful resource, but I did find some of the rhymes to be a bit difficult for my kindergarten students.
These practice sheets were very good for my kids who are ELL's. They found it very easy to understand the pictures and to match them. They were very successful in finding the rhymes and they were very proud of themselves. Thank you so much for making such a great product.

Description

This 10 page resource requires students to cut pictures from the bottom of the page and glue beside a picture that rhymes with it. Each page has six pictures at the top and six pictures at the bottom to cut and glue.

A "Name that Picture" page is included in case there is any confusion on naming any of the pictures. As a teacher, I always name the pictures for my students before they begin the activity. Keep the "Name that Picture" page handy as you use each page in the pack.

**NOTE: If you choose to use this as a digital resource, of course, students can't cut and glue, but students could use a different color for each matching pair and draw a line to match the rhyming pictures.

Some of the images and rhyming combinations in this rhyming pack are the same as the ones in pack 2. Please see the preview and list of rhyming matches in the descriptions.

You may find the Rhyming (Cut and Paste) (Pack 2) at this link:

The pictures included are:

Page 1: pan/man, big/pig, rug/jug, ten/pen, pot/dot, pop/cop

Page 2: frog/fog, top/mop, cot/hot, box/fox, bag/rag, can/pan

Page 3: ham/jam, mat/hat, bed/red, dig/wig, log/jog, truck/duck

Page 4: fan/ran, nest/vest, fin/spin, dog/frog, bug/rug, bit/hit

Page 5: sad/mad, jet/net, zip/sip, sun/bun, cat/bat, hen/ten

Page 6: map/cap, ram/ham, net/vet, win/pin, lip/tip, cop/top

Page 7: rig/dig, dip/clip, van/can, kit/lit, hut/cut, buck/duck

Page 8: bat/hat, bee/tree, dog/log, fan/pan, pig/wig, bear/chair

Page 9: fox/box, cake/snake, wagon/dragon, duck/truck, goat/boat, rug/bug

Page 10: car/star, pen/hen, house/mouse, sat/rat, tag/bag, rip/hip

When my students finish early, I have them label the pictures on the front and flip to the back of their paper to write a sentence with each word on the front. Students can also color the pictures after completing the page.

This makes a great morning work activity, homework, literacy center, or review for rhyming words.
