Description
Remember the Titans (2000) follows the 1971 story of a football team during its first year of being integrated. The team is led by a new African American coach who must overcome racism and backlash from his town. This film would be great for U.S. History, Black History Month, a unit on the Civil Rights Movement, End of the Year, last minute sub plans, or a Sports History class! The film stars Denzel Washington, Will Patton, Ryan Gosling, Donald Faison, Wood Harris, Ryan Hurst, Craig Kirkwood, Hayden Panettiere, Ethan Suplee, and Kate Bosworth.
