Description

It was my pleasure to create this resource you have purchased! I truly hope that your student (s) enjoy this spring/summer themed Place Value review!

I designed this set of task cards as a review for the 5th grade Common Core standards for Place Value. This can be used at the end of the school year as review, as practice during summer school, home practice over the summer (great for families!), and/or practice at the beginning of the school year.

This set includes the following review concepts:
Naming place value positions
Writing numbers in word form, standard form, and expanded form
Rounding numbers including decimals
Comparing and Ordering Decimals
Understanding place value

If there are any modifications that need to be made, please contact me at cms1steph@yahoo.com and I will make corrections and resubmit immediately.

I would appreciate any constructive feedback as it will help me develop and grow my craft to share with others! Please visit my TpT store often to check out my other products!

Recognize that in a multi-digit whole number, a digit in one place represents ten times what it represents in the place to its right. For example, recognize that 700 ÷ 70 = 10 by applying concepts of place value and division.
Read and write multi-digit whole numbers using base-ten numerals, number names, and expanded form. Compare two multi-digit numbers based on meanings of the digits in each place, using >, =, and < symbols to record the results of comparisons.
Use place value understanding to round multi-digit whole numbers to any place.
Recognize that in a multi-digit number, a digit in one place represents 10 times as much as it represents in the place to its right and 1/10 of what it represents in the place to its left.
Read, write, and compare decimals to thousandths.
