A fun Fall art activity for Hispanic Heritage Month. Learn about Spains most famous artist while creating a cubist style pumpkin in the likeness of Picasso’s famous paintings. Several pumpkin images and sizes are included for student choice, including one created after Picasso's "Girl in the Mirror" painting. There are 2 pages of facial features drawn from Picasso’s most popular paintings including “Skull with Leeks. Students of all ages and abilities will have fun mixing up the face features to create their own Picasso pumpkin masterpiece! This lesson can be a cut and paste activity for young artists, or the worksheets can inspire your “master” artists to draw their own images directly onto the pumpkin patterns. Print on white paper, or a variety of colors for additional student choice.
