Personal Care Visual Communication Cards Schedules and Task Analysis AAC

This packet contains portable visual communication tools with visual icons for AAC. Targeting personal care communication for students with autism such a brushing teeth, toileting, grooming, dressing, clothes, bathing, health etc . Additional boards are provided so that the visual tiles can be turned into visual schedules and task analyses.

In this pack you will find 9 different personal care categories. Each category comes in 3 different sized communication cards.

Sizes are:

-Large (8 squares)…..available in color and low ink option…..(7.5”x 4.24” vertical)

-Medium (6 squares)….available in color (6”x 4.75” horizontal)

-Small (4 squares)…..available in color (4”x 5” vertical)

Each category has its own unique color to aid with visual discrimination as each comes with an optional cover page to conveniently divide/separate each subject. Both the large and medium cover pages are tabbed to facilitate student in finding the desired PEC visual quickly and efficiently.

The different sizes of communication cards are provided to not only aid in the portability of the cards (larger cards on a lanyard, smaller on a wristlet etc) but also to assist students who have deficits in scanning large arrays.

Additionally, some of the picture icons can be utilized in the form of mini visual task schedule which the teacher can use to inform the student of the sequence of an activity etc. Therefore 7 different visual schedule templates are provided (in 3 sizes also). Visual schedule templates are available in color and low ink options. These include:

- ‘To do and done’ visual schedule/task analysis board (color and low ink).

- 12 square ‘to do’ visuals schedule/task analysis board (color and low ink).
