WEBQUEST: PERIODIC TABLE OF ELEMENTS

SUBJECTS: SCIENCE / CHEMISTRY

This 2-page (19 question) webquest is a great for general review/introduction to the Periodic Table of Elements. It works perfectly as a class assignment, homework, sub plans, or as extra credit. A Periodic Table of Elements is NOT required to complete the webquest.

The webquest does not use one specific website but will have students using search engines to "quest" for answers to questions such as:

Who discovered the most elements on the Periodic Table?

What are the five most common gas elements in the air we breathe?

What were two contributions made by Marie Curie to the Periodic Table?

ANSWER KEY IS INCLUDED.

DOC & PDF Versions! The worksheet is given as a MS-Word document (DOC) which will allow easy modifying to fit your class. It is also provided as a PDF for ease of use/printing. Answer key is not included.
