Description
Paraphrasing is a necessary skill for students to master as they begin research and writing. Teachers often assume students can do this easily, but this is often a difficult skill that requires teacher demonstration and student practice.
This is a power point game that paraphrases the lyrics of 8 popular songs. Students must read the lyrics and try to guess which song has been paraphrased. The powerpoint then shows the paraphrased version along side the actual version so students can compare the two.
