This inquiry based unit has been fully updated to meet all curriculum expectations, and allows students to work on social and environmental issues of interest to them. Along the way they will be recording their new learning in an Action Plan flipbook, while also working towards a culminating task that allows students to explain how they feel different levels of government should handle an important issue.

Teachers are provided with three-part lesson plans, student-friendly texts, flipbook templates, and assessment tools.
