Description

In this unit, students will answer the question “Which historical figure deserves more recognition?” Your researchers will:

  • Investigate and discuss the qualities of strong persuasive writing using TED Talks and sample essays
  • Conduct a research project on a student-selected topic
  • Use the student workbook to guide research, record information from multiple sources, and organize facts and details
  • Draft, edit, revise, and publish online with Google Suite
  • Use success criteria throughout the unit to guide and evaluate writing
  • Practice and present an oral presentation
