Description
Practice Microsoft formatting skills with this series of challenges for Excel, PowerPoint, and Word! Students are given an un-formatted doc/spreadsheet/presentation. They follow guidelines and an example to turn it into an eye-catching report.
This activity is designed to challenge students who have already learned the basics of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerPoint.
Activity Guide for each of the 3 activities:
- Students begin with the un-formatted version.
- Using the guidelines, students follow each step to format it so that it matches the "Answer Key".
- Each slide contains a "hint box" to help the students find the correct area in the ribbon to complete the tasks. To make it more challenging, the teacher may choose to use the "No Hints" version of the instructions.
- There is an "Answer Key" file showing the finished product. To further assist the student, the instructor may offer to share the PDF of this file.
- Students should have a finished product that looks nearly identical to the Answer Key file. Grading rubric is included so that students can peer-evaluate or instructor can quickly check requirements.
Each resource Includes:
