Math Content and Differentiation Guide

This is a hugely resourceful pack (if I do say so myself!) As a math coach, I spent a year digging through the math standards, unpacking the content, and getting a grip on the entire elementary math curriculum. I realized that one of the biggest challenges with differentiating math instruction is having quick access to the K-5 math standards. This was my solution!

Great for administrators, math coaches, curriculum advisors, and grade level teachers who want to know how to remediate/extend students, my K-5 references show how the content progresses across grade levels, and to what depth students are held accountable. As a math coach, I keep the reference pages handy in my binders when I meet with grade level teachers!

The differentiation planning pages help teachers look closely at the standards being taught, what skills or concepts students need to know to master the new content, as well as how to remediate or extend the content for students. Grouping, differentiation, and lesson planners make differentiation easy and purposeful. As a teacher, I keep the reference and planning pages handy when planning units and lessons, so I am always aware what students should be able to do (last year’s standards) and what they will need to do next year.

This pack should greatly simplify the process of differentiating math instruction for any grade level!
