Description

Embark on an educational adventure with your students through the film Into the Wild. This unit is designed to engage high school students in critical thinking, cinematic analysis, and personal reflection as they delve into the journey of Christopher McCandless, a young man who left society to explore the untamed wilderness.

This 15-page workbook includes Engaging worksheets to guide students in analyzing the director's choices, characters, themes, and cinematic techniques employed in the movie, as well as thought-provoking questions for class discussions. Students will be encouraged to articulate their thoughts on individualism, societal expectations, and the consequences of choices.

This workbook can be given to the students as a whole workbook, or printed as single worksheets. This is everything you will need to teach the film Into the Wild. This unit is aligned with Common Core and other educational standards, making it easy to integrate into your curriculum.

Note: This film is rated R. I send out a permission slip to make sure that students' families are okay with them participating in the unit.
