Description

This lesson combines art history with printmaking in such a beautiful way! There’s lots of room for individuality with dragons and other fantastic mythical animals as well as castles, kings, and queens, all inspired from medieval times. The steps for creating the prints with craft foam are broken down in a detailed photo tutorial. The project includes line drawings of 12 mythical beings as well as drawings of other medieval-inspired objects and designs. Many creative possibilities!

Don’t have the resources or time for printmaking? This lesson is also stunning in colored pencil on black paper. Full instructions for this option are also included.
