Description

Do you want to make your IEP writing life easier? Are you a new special educator and don't know where to start when writing your own IEP goals and objectives? Do you want some new goals for the school year?

I made this product to help out all special educators write their IEPs! This document contains 17 pages of pre-written IEP goals, as well as a list of accommodations for the middle school level (grades 6-8). If you teach other grade levels (such as upper elementary or high school), you should be able to adapt and modify the goals to meet your needs.

This product is EDITABLE! After you purchase, you will be able to go into the bank and add your already created IEP goals, objectives, and accommodations. This is a wonderful way to keep yourself organized and keep everything in one space! You will also be able to copy and paste the goals directly into your IEP program. In the goals, information that you will need to add (such as student names, percentages, and number of trials) is marked with "XXX", so you know to add your own information and do not forget!

When purchased, you will receive 107 IEP goals and a list of 37 accommodations!

The goals cover the following areas: reading comprehension, written expression, reading fluency, math problem solving, math calculation, behavior/academic behavior, and transition. There are subtopics for each goal area which are listed below. You will also find the total number of goals per area below.

DISCLAIMER: This IEP goal bank is intended for the use within 6th-8th grade. If you intend on using it for any other grade levels, you may have to adapt the goals and objectives. Please keep in mind that expectations for criteria within goals vary by state, school district, etc. These are written in the format I have been taught and am expected to use. If these goals are not written to your expectation, you are welcome to change the goal to include whatever you need to meet your requirements. These are also great to use as a guide when writing your own IEP goals and objectives. Also, as a special educator, I absolutely understand IEPs are NOT a one size fits all. You may need to adapt these goals for your students. With each goal, I have included markings (labeled XXX), to signify what information would likely need to be adapted for each of your students. Happy IEP writing and I hope you enjoy!
