    Description

These are the products that I wish I had when I started my teaching career! I try to create products that will save me time and help me stay organized. I included my products that I believe will assist anyone who is beginning their first year of teaching or starting their new special education journey!

The bundle includes the following products:

Goals @ A Glance Sheet- This is how I keep track of the areas my students are working on per their IEPs. I simply write the topics that their goals consist of and keep the sheet near my desk. Then when I am printing out progress monitoring materials for the quarter, I can just reference my sheet rather than going through each individual IEP or data binder.

IEP Goal Bank and Accommodations for the Middle School Level- This is my best selling product. This editable word doc contains over 100 IEP goals/objectives. There is also a page with accommodations for the classroom and testing. This is a great way to get your hands on some pre written IEP goals that you can simply copy and paste into your IEP program. You can also add your own goals to the document as you write your own!

Level System for Special Education Classroom Management- I wish that I had a quality classroom management system when I began my first year of teaching, but I kept playing around with various strategies and did not keep things as consistent as I would have liked. This system is what my ED classroom relies on DAILY. This level system is already created for you, but you can edit it to your needs. I included a level system poster, restriction levels poster, data sheets, behavior passport, documentation sheet, daily home report, and an implementation guide in this product. Students gain privileges in the classroom as they move up levels and are faced with consequences if they do not earn their day on the system. This system is extremely consistent and has the same components used daily, making it a quality classroom management system.

Parent Beginning of the Year Survey Google Form- I originally created this since I wanted a paperless survey option for families due to covid, but I plan to use it year after year! Send this to families at the beginning of the year to obtain basic information about your students such as allergies, likes and dislikes, books they can read, etc. This is editable so you can add your own questions and make any changes you see fit.

Parent Beginning of the Year Survey FREEBIE- This is already a freebie in my store, but wanted to include it if you wanted a printable version of the Google Form survey. Simply print this out and add it to your beginning of the year information for families. They can fill it out and return it to you, then you can file it in your student information binder or files.

Parent/Guardian IEP Input Survey Google Form- This is the Google Form that I email to families when their child's IEP meeting is approaching so I can find out their input and concerns. This helps me gain parent input for certain sections of the IEP such as future planning, transition page, the profile, PLOP, etc.

Incident Report/Documentation Forms- These are the forms I use in my classroom for documenting incidents that happen. I included two versions, digital and printable which are both editable!

Behavior Contracts and Condition Tracking Sheets- Behavior contracts like this are great to have copied and on hand for when you need them! Simply just fill in the information and give the student the tracking sheet, and you are good to go! This is something that is used weekly, if not daily, in my classroom.

Student Progress Monitoring Google Form- This is the Google Form that I use to progress monitor goals and objectives for each of my students.

IEP Meeting Checklist- This product is designed to keep you organized throughout the IEP process and ensure you have what you need!

Caseload @ A Glance- This resource is designed to help you have all of your caseload information at your fingertips!

Planning Time Schedule- I made this to help you with your time management needs when it comes to your planning time! Map out your plan time schedule by determining your must do's and may do's, and throw in some reminders to help keep you on your toes.

Mainstream Teacher Reports- When it comes to special education students in the mainstream setting, it is vital to have a system that allows those teachers to communicate behaviors, missing assignments, and class participation. These are the report sheets that I use in my classroom. In the Google Drive folder, you receive 2 reports that come in both a Google Doc and a PDF format. One report focuses on behaviors and homework/missing assignments and the other report focuses on behavior and class participation.

Student Daily Expectations/Boundaries- As a first year teacher, I did not realize how many daily expectations students need for a class period and had no idea how to present them. In order to help you, I created a basic list of daily student expectations/boundaries, as well as a class period breakdown that lists expectations for each class. I made this in a Google Doc so you are able to edit this for what your classroom needs, but the ones I included already are what I find essential to run my classroom smoothly.

First Then Board and Visuals- This is a very basic first then board that I use in my classroom. This product also includes 60 visual icons for the board including academic based visuals, related services visuals, expected behavior visuals, and various reward/choice visuals. This is a great basis but you can also add any of your own visuals to your board!

Student Entrance Slip/Morning Work- This morning entrance slip is no prep and ready to use for the entire year! Simply print the levels that your students need, and have it ready to go every morning. The questions ask the students to write their name, identify the day of the week, identify the weather, identify how they got to school that day, identify if they are packing or buying their lunch that day, and identify how they feel that day.
