These Hard and Soft C and G Phonics and Fluency Read and Write the Room Task Cards are the perfect way to get your students up and moving, practicing their reading, and having fun! There is no prep necessary - just print, cut, and go! These cards are perfect for use as a center or station during small groups.

Advanced Cards - Students look at the picture, read the sentence, then SPELL and write the word on the recording sheet.

When can I use this activity?

  • Hang the cards in the back of the room and use as a literacy center or station during reading groups.
  • Use as a whole group activity after learning the phonics pattern.
  • Tape each card to a ruler and put them around the school building! My students love going outside to read/write the PLAYGROUND!
