Description

Greatest Common Factor Notes

This pdf shows three different ways to find GCF of two or more numbers.

1. Finding the GCF by listing factors

2. Finding the GCF by using prime factorization

3. Finding the GCF by using Tic-Tac-Toe...my personal favorite

Because all kids learn differently, I try to teach every math concept in as many ways as I can to reach all the students.

I teach my students all three ways of finding GCF, make them practice all three ways, then let them pick the one that works best for their learning style.
