Description

This is a lesson on graphing quadratics. The lesson comes with all needed materials. The package includes guided notes, practice problems, a quiz, and the Smart Notebook file (if you use it). The lesson discusses the 3 main forms of a quadratic (standard, vertex, intercept) and how we can use those different forms to graph a quadratic function. Students are asked to find key points, such as the vertex, x-intercepts, and y-intercept. Inside the notes, there are several examples, designed so that you can do a few examples with the class, and then the class can do a few examples on their own. There is also a separate practice worksheet that going directly with the lesson and a short quiz over the same material. Everything is packaged in a .zip file, so you will have everything you need. I include the notes in both a PDF format and a Word format, so you can edit it if you'd like.
