Description
Long Range Plans
I hope you enjoy this download and can use it as much as I do in my own teaching practice. I like to keep it simple, practical and implement something that the students will be able to use and improve upon year after year, with a few little tweaks along the way. Even though these are written for Intermediate, the Ontario French curriculum has very few differences between grades K-8. This can be easily adapted for younger grades as well.
In this resource, you will find:
- Class Expectations
- Course Outline
- Long Range Plan for all French Immersion subjects (the expectations can double as your report card comments)
- Long Range Plan for Core French subjects (he expectations can double as your report card comments)
- Assessments
I usually do visual arts and drama for both terms as students love expanding their skills in these two subject areas and, in term 1, I teach music and term 2 dance. I incorporate dance into my physical education time as there is a lot to cover in the French curriculum and it can be difficult finding the time. In term 1, I teach geography and in term 2 I teach history.
