French Halloween Reading Comprehension - Les origines de l'Halloween

This French reading comprehension article on the origins of Halloween is a part of an upcoming reading comprehension bundle for FSL and French Immersion students. Students will learn all about the beloved celebration of Halloween, its roots in the Celtic celebration of Samhain and how Roman Empire influenced the celebration.

Students will also learn about the different ways in which Halloween/similar celebrations are honoured worldwide. They will also research three different celebrations honouring deceased loved ones around the world.

This reading comprehension article is meant for intermediate students as it contains passé composé and imparfait.

Cet article sur la compréhension de lecture en français sur les origines de l’Halloween fait partie d’un ensemble de compréhension de lecture à venir pour les étudiants en FSL et en immersion française. Les élèves apprendront tout sur la célébration bien-aimée d’Halloween, ses racines dans la célébration celtique de Samhain et comment l’Empire romain a influencé la célébration.

Les élèves apprendront également les différentes façons dont l’Halloween et les célébrations semblables sont honorées dans le monde entier. Ils feront également des recherches sur trois célébrations différentes rendant hommage à des proches décédés dans le monde entier.

Cet article de compréhension de lecture est destiné aux étudiants intermédiaires car il contient le passé composé et l'imparfait.
