French Reading Comprehension Bundle - Ensemble de compréhension de lecture

French reading comprehension articles don't have to be uninspiring and boring! Introduce your students to the beauty of la francophonie with readings designed specifically for Core French students! This is a growing bundle of all present and future French reading comprehension articles in my TPT. This bundle currently contains 37 articles and will eventually include more! The price of the bundle will increase with each new article addition. Current articles include : impressionisme, la bûche de Noël, les origines de la Tour Eiffel, la Tourtière, le Mardi Gras, etc. These French reading comprehension activities are ideal for beginner-advanced students, depending on the article. Most of the articles have to do with francophone cultures, and some have to do with the cultures and backgrounds of Canadian students!

Please note that there are NO timelines as to when new articles will be added.

NOTE ABOUT ANSWER KEYS

The Francophone monuments and Colonial injustices bundles are the only ones that have answer keys in the French reading comprehension article series as of now. Answer keys to previous bundles WILL be added in Summer 2023.

Each reading comprehension resource consists of 4-6 pages and follows the exact same format :

Who are these articles intended for?

These articles are intended for intermediate-advanced FSL and French Immersion students in High School.

What themes do they include and what themes will be added to the bundle?

This bundle focuses on la francophonie. Topics include a wide range of topics such as francophone places, traditions/celebrations, unique cultural aspects, geography, etc.

How will I know that you have updated this bundle?

Three options to learn of updates :

- Download the TPT app and follow my store on the app. The app will send you notifications when I edit resources and update bundles

- Follow my shop on TPT and you will receive emails when I add new resources

- Periodically go to "My Purchases" and find this bundle to see if it's been updated

What formats are included?

Each article comes in 3 formats : PDF, link to Google Slides, and a PowerPoint file OR instructions on how to download the Google Slides as a PowerPoint.

Please note that digital versions are provided, however, not all activities in this reading comprehension series will be digital compatible (e.g. colouring/crafts). The text and graphics are not editable due to copyright reasons.
