The bûche de Noël is a dessert that has so much history attached to it. This famous dessert is eaten at the end of a Christmas dinner. However, it wasn't always a cake! In this French Christmas reading comprehension article, students will learn all about the origins of this dessert - dating back to pre-Christian times!
This reading comprehension article is meant for intermediate students as it contains passé composé and imparfait.
