What educators are saying

Great lesson for teaching organization of time and space. Used it in a series of workshops for prepping for high school. Will use it again in the future.
This resource was easy to prepare. Students found it engaging. It was a great resource to teach organizational skills to my students with ADHD who have organization as a behavior goal. I was able to use the data as a probe assessment.

The following is lesson is part of my executive functioning skills lesson series.

What are executive functioning skills?
Executive functioning skills are the skills you need to be a successful person. These skills involve: planning, prioritizing, time management, working memory, self-control, metacognition, attention, task initiation, and perseverance.

Students who struggle in school often have weak executive functioning skills. In order to be successful in school and in life, students who struggle need to be taught these skills explicitly. I have created an entire course and curriculum at my school based on this premise, and have students to this day come back and tell me that the “real world skills” they learned in my class, help them as adults. (Over 90% graduation rate for students who take my class)
