Equations and Systems Bellwork Quiz - Limit Cheating, Self-Grading

Do you need a short quiz covering equations, solutions, and systems of equations for Algebra 2 or Pre-Calculus students? This is the ticket, and it's got a bit of a trick for students that can tend to have wandering eyes on quiz day!

This short quiz is designed to be given as a bellwork quiz, but it could be great homework, too. The quiz has two main sections, each with 5 questions. Please see the video to see the individual questions and to see how the quiz is broken into two portions.

At the beginning of the quiz, students answer a question about their families. The answer they provide filters them into one of the versions of the quiz. The end result is that students will only see five questions, and each five-question set is unique. This is a good step towards reducing cheating.

When you download this resource you will receive a PDF file with a link. When you click on the link you will be directed to create a copy of this resource in your Google Drive. This way your student data stays private and you can make changes without fear of messing up the original!
